Contact and takedown requests
One address handles everything, including copyright notices. If you are a rights holder, skip to the takedown section.
This is also the designated agent address published on our DMCA.com compliance record (CSN #694424). We have no telephone line and no postal address for correspondence.
What to write about
- Copyright or trademark takedown
- Use the notice format below. Include the specific https://oopspread.com URLs — we can remove a listing from this directory, but we cannot act on a complaint that only names a brand.
- A listing is wrong, dead or misleading
- Send the URL and what is wrong with it. Listings come from community spreadsheets and go stale; corrections are genuinely useful and get fixed on the next catalogue rebuild.
- Order, payment, shipping or refund problems
- We cannot help with these. We are a directory — we take no payment, hold no stock and have no access to your Oopbuy account or orders. Contact Oopbuy support directly.
- Everything else
- General questions, press, or anything about the site itself. Same address.
Copyright takedown notice
Oopspread is a directory of listings reproduced from publicly shared community spreadsheets. We take copyright seriously and will act expeditiously on a valid notice. Send it to oop9276189@tutanota.com with "DMCA notice" in the subject line, and include all of the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed. Where several works are covered by one notice, a representative list of them.
- The exact URL on this site of the material you want removed — one per item. A brand name or a category page is not enough for us to act on.
- Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf.
On receipt of a complete notice we remove or disable access to the identified material and exclude it from future catalogue rebuilds, so it does not return when the source spreadsheets are re-read.
Before you send it: what we actually control
Worth knowing, because it decides whether writing to us achieves what you want.
- We do not host the product photography. Images on these pages are loaded directly from the marketplace CDNs that the original listings sit on. Removing a page here removes our link to an image; it does not delete the image, which stays wherever its host keeps it.
- We do not host the listings either. Every product page here points at Oopbuy and, behind it, a third-party seller. Taking a page down here does not remove the item from sale. To stop the listing itself, the notice needs to go to Oopbuy and to the marketplace hosting it.
- Brand names are descriptive. They appear to identify what a seller says an item is. Oopspread is not affiliated with, authorised by or endorsed by any brand shown. A trademark complaint is still welcome at the address above — just identify the specific URLs.
Counter-notice
If material of yours was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you can send a counter-notice to the same address. It needs your signature, identification of the removed material and where it appeared, your name, address, telephone number and email, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the removal was a mistake, and your consent to the jurisdiction of a court where you live (or, outside the United States, any district in which we may be found).
Both notices and counter-notices carry legal consequences: knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, creates liability for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f). If you are unsure whether you have a claim, talk to a lawyer before sending anything — nothing on this page is legal advice.
What we do with your email
We read it, reply if a reply is needed, and keep it only for as long as it takes to deal with the matter. We do not add you to anything and there is nothing here to subscribe to. Copyright notices may be passed on in full — including your contact details — to Oopbuy, to a hosting provider, or to the person who published the source spreadsheet, where that is necessary to act on them.
